Macro X

Version 16 October 2026

Terms of Sale

These terms apply when you buy a Macro X subscription on macrox.cc. Please read them before you buy. You’ll be asked to tick a box to agree to them, including the part about your 14-day right to cancel.

The short version

  • Macro X is £4.99 a month, paid with PayPal, until you cancel.
  • Your license key is shown straight away. Because of that, you give up the usual 14-day right to cancel when you buy.
  • Cancel any time in PayPal. It stops future payments and Macro X keeps working until the end of the month you’ve paid for.
  • No refunds for change of mind or unused time.
  • If Macro X is faulty, you still have your legal rights to a fix or a refund.

1. Who we are

You can also reach us any time through the support chat on macrox.cc.

2. What you’re buying

A monthly subscription to Macro X, a desktop app for recording and replaying clicks and keystrokes. It includes:

  • a license key, shown on screen as soon as PayPal confirms your subscription;
  • use of Macro X on one computer at a time;
  • every update released while your subscription is active, delivered through the Macro X Launcher.

Check the system requirements on macrox.cc before you buy. You need an internet connection the first time you activate your key and from time to time after that.

3. Price and payment

The price is £4.99 a month. The price shown at checkout is the total you pay. PayPal takes the first payment when you subscribe, then the same amount every month on the same date until you cancel.

If we ever change the price, we’ll tell you before it applies to you, and you can cancel before the new price is charged.

4. Cancelling your subscription

You can cancel at any time in your PayPal account (Settings → Payments → Manage automatic payments). Cancelling stops all future payments. Macro X keeps working until the end of the month you’ve already paid for, then your key stops working.

5. Your 14-day right to cancel

When you buy digital content online in the UK, you normally have 14 days to change your mind and cancel (under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013).

Macro X gives you your license key immediately. So before you can pay, you’re asked to tick a box to confirm that:

  • you want us to supply your license key straight away, within the 14-day cancellation period; and
  • you understand you lose your right to cancel once the key has been supplied.

You can’t buy without ticking it. We record the date and time you agreed and the version of these terms, and we confirm your agreement on the page that shows your license key.

6. No refunds

Apart from your rights in section 7, payments are not refundable. That includes changing your mind, not using Macro X, part-used months and the rest of a month after you cancel.

If a payment is refunded, reversed or disputed through PayPal, the license key for that subscription is turned off.

7. If Macro X is faulty

Nothing in these terms takes away your legal rights. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, Macro X must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If it isn’t:

  • you can ask us to repair or replace it; and
  • if we can’t fix it within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience to you, you can ask for a price reduction, which can be up to a full refund of what you paid.

If faulty Macro X software damages your device or other digital content because we didn’t use reasonable care and skill, we’ll repair the damage or pay you fair compensation.

To report a fault, contact us using the details in section 1. For more on your rights, see Citizens Advice.

8. Using Macro X

  • Your key is for you. Don’t share, sell or publish it. We may turn off a key that is shared or resold.
  • Some games and apps don’t allow macros or autoclickers. Check their rules. Using Macro X is your choice, and we aren’t responsible for action another service takes against your account.
  • Don’t use Macro X for anything illegal or to harm others.

9. Changes to Macro X and these terms

We improve Macro X over time, so features can change. We won’t make changes that take away its main features while you’re paying for it.

If we stop offering Macro X, we’ll tell you, stop taking payments and refund any amount you’ve paid for time you won’t get.

If we change these terms, the new version applies to new purchases. If a change affects your existing subscription, we’ll tell you first and you can cancel before it applies.

10. Our responsibility to you

We’re responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or not using reasonable care and skill. We aren’t responsible for loss that wasn’t foreseeable. Macro X is sold for personal use, so we aren’t responsible for business losses such as lost profit or lost business opportunity.

We don’t exclude or limit our responsibility where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

11. Complaints and the law

If you’re unhappy, contact us using the details in section 1 and we’ll do our best to sort it out.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring legal proceedings in the courts of England and Wales, or, if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, in the courts there.
